Scope

This privacy statement applies to the services, products and activities of Alt Medical B.V. and its affiliated companies, referred to below as Alt.

Purposes and legal grounds

Alt processes personal data where consent has been given, where processing is needed for an agreement or legal obligation, or where a legitimate interest applies after weighing the rights of the person concerned. Purposes include customer and supplier relationships, employment, legal compliance and support of business activities.

Retention and sharing

Personal data is kept no longer than necessary for the purpose or applicable law. Alt shares data only when this is needed to provide services, meet a legal obligation or where explicit consent has been obtained. Recipients can include IT and supporting service providers and competent authorities. Transfers outside the EEA take place only with appropriate safeguards.

Security

Alt uses appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss, unauthorised access and unlawful processing. Measures are reviewed and updated where necessary. Security incidents are handled and reported in accordance with legal requirements.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability or object to processing in the applicable circumstances. Send a written request to [email protected]. Alt aims to respond within one month and will inform you if more time is needed.

Automated decisions and data breaches

Alt does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. A personal-data breach presenting a high risk will be communicated to affected people and reported to the competent authority where required.
